We handle the advice, negotiation, and drafting of commercial contracts between Spanish and foreign companies, including within international corporate groups. Our involvement covers, for example, the following contracts: international commercial collaboration contracts such as distribution, piggyback, franchise, international commercial intermediation contracts, such as agency, commission, mediation, international sales contracts, etc.
We provide advice and assistance for the establishment of Spanish companies by foreign partners and investors, managing all necessary procedures until the company is registered in the Mercantile Registry. Once the company is operational, we provide advice for drafting necessary contracts, such as commercial lease contracts, preparation of general contracting conditions related to adhesion contracts, employment contracts, etc.
We offer legal advice to foreign companies in the hiring phase of personnel. We handle the drafting of executive contracts, employment contracts, their adaptation to Spanish legislation, as well as the necessary procedures in case of posting, i.e., worker displacement (both of foreign workers posted in Spain and Spanish workers posted abroad). Our activity also includes resolving these contracts by either the employer’s will (dismissal) or the worker’s will.
We specialize in family law and, thanks to our extensive experience in cross-border matters, we provide advice and judicial assistance in separation and divorce proceedings involving a foreign spouse, with specific attention to the peculiarities of such matters (linguistic, cultural, etc.).
We also handle procedures for modifying parental custody measures when, for example, one of the parents needs to relocate with the child abroad. Our services also include the recognition of foreign judgments in family law and assistance in cases of pathological situations resulting from the relationships between ex-partners, such as child abduction abroad.
We provide assistance to foreigners with inheritance rights in Spain, for example, in the case of bank accounts and properties located in the Iberian Peninsula, Balearic Islands, and Canary Islands, carrying out all inheritance procedures (including drafting the deed of acceptance and division of inheritance, assistance with the notarial signing, registration in the Property Registry, banking procedures, etc.). At the same time, we offer advice and assistance, along with collaborating law firms, regarding inheritances that include assets located abroad.
